The Black Dog Coffee Roaster is a small Scottish coffee roaster brand with a big love for ethically sourced speciality coffee. They focus on sourcing the best coffee beans from the exotic sources all around the globe, and roast them right in the heart of Scotland.
Challenge
The main challenge with Black Dog Coffee Roaster was choosing the best option to revive a brand which has been dormant for a considerable amount of time. It required a specific strategy that would re-introduce the brand, as well as build momentum for further growth.
Work Carried Out
This involved creating a clear yet comprehensive strategy that to be applied to the website, as well as the social media presence. The website had to be updated to reflect the current product offering, as well as ensuring a more streamlined customer experience. Majority of the strategic planning went into laying out a clear growth plan using social media, ensuring the correct brand voice has been selected, and that the content correctly ticks all of the brand’s content pillars that we settled on.
Result
Even though restoring the presence of a dormant brand usually requires patience, in this case customer enquiries started coming in within the first two weeks, and the results on Facebook were especially strong both in terms of organic exposure and interaction. As the project continues, we look to further build the brand’s social proof both for direct customers, as well as expanding on the current B2B partnerships.
